How It Works
How It Works
Nikki Thompson Frazier is the powerhouse CEO behind Sweet Encounter Bakery Café and the creator of the nationally shipped Cupcakes in a Jar (CIAJ)—a decadent, allergy-friendly dessert experience redefining the way we gift and celebrate. Â
A former journalist turned culinary entrepreneur, Nikki launched her gluten-free bakery in honor of her daughters’ food allergies and has since built it into a purpose-driven brand with a national footprint.Â
With every whisk, word, and workshop, Nikki is on a mission to transform lives. She is a sought-after speaker on women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship, and building a life that aligns with purpose. Through her in-person and virtual cooking classes, she shares practical, joy-filled ways to nourish both body and spirit. Whether she’s keynoting a conference or teaching systems to help entrepreneurs escape burnout and reclaim joy, Nikki brings authenticity, wisdom, and a spark that ignites change.Â
From the kitchen to the stage, Nikki’s story inspires people everywhere to rise, rebuild, and walk boldly into their next chapter—with purpose in one hand and a cupcake in the other.Â
She has a BA in Journalism from Indiana University and an MS in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State University. She lives in Lansing, MI.  She is married to Dr. Terrence Frazier and together they raise their two daughters Melia and Madison (MJ), their sister Shona and their dog Biscuit.Â
